One handle for it all

Click the handle on when you cook and take it off when you use the oven. Without a handle, pans and pots sit close on the hob and stack in the cupboard. The same three layers of steel and aluminium and the same ceramic non-stick as the rest of the Hybrid range.

Does the handle fit all the pans?

Yes. The detachable handle fits all our handleless pans and pots. It locks in at three points and holds securely, even with a 28 cm pan full of meat and vegetables. Take it off when the pan goes in the oven or the cupboard.

How do I use it in the oven?

Take the handle off and put the pan or pot in. Without the handle, Hybrid is oven-safe up to 260 °C, and there's no long handle that has to fit inside the oven. When the dish is done, lift it out with oven gloves.

Will it work on my hob?

Yes. It works on induction, gas, electric and ceramic hobs. The outer layer is magnetic steel, and the aluminium core spreads the heat evenly across the base.

Can I use metal utensils?

Yes, an ordinary metal spatula or spoon is fine. The steel pattern in the surface takes the contact and protects the ceramic coating. Just avoid sharp things like knives, as they can scratch.

Do I need to use oil?

You don't have to. Preheat for a few minutes on low to medium before the food goes in. Hybrid holds heat well, so turn it a little lower than you usually would. If you want butter or oil for flavour, add it once the surface is hot.

Is there PFAS in the coating?

No. The ceramic non-stick is made mainly from silica, which is sand, and is free from PFAS and PFC. There are no fluorine compounds in it, and no PTFE either, which most people know as Teflon.

What if it's not for me?

Cook with it at home for up to 100 days. If it's not for you, even if you've used it, send it back with a free return label and get your money back. On top of that, there's a 2-year warranty.
